Sailrite^® Deluxe 5-1/2" Magnetic Sewing Guide is an easy-to-use seaming and hemming guide. Think of it as being similar in use to a fence on a table saw — it provides an extra-long surface to push a fabric edge against while sewing. The resulting stitches will be very straight and evenly positioned from the fabric edge.

Ideal uses include stitching of prefolded hems and the first stitch of a flat felled seam construction.

The aggressive holding power of the high strength magnets and special pads keep the guide firmly in place while sewing even heavy fabric assemblies. The unique construction and raised rubber pads won't scratch metal sewing machines the way a metal sewing guide might.

Spacing is easily adjusted on any machine by moving the guide closer to or away from the needle and will help to replicate the stitching of a double needle sewing machine when used with the Ultrafeed^® LSZ that has a single needle and needle offset lever.

The guide is adjusted or removed by lifting upward along the back side with the finger cutout. For applications where a short guide is required, turn it sideways.

Works on all Sailrite or any other steel bed sewing machines.
