Monofilament Tex 18 Thread is a strong, clear nylon thread that blends in with the fabric being sewn. Monofilament thread sews well, meaning that it is easy to set upper thread tension and tension remains consistent. Thread feeds through the top of the transparent cover, which provides a silicone coating and keeps the thread clean and tangle-free. No thread stand is necessary.

We recommend sewing this thread with a #10 or #12 needle. This thread is used for quilting, heavier garment sewing, stretch garments, tacking and blind stitching.
