The Sailrite^® Long Nose Upholstery Staple Gun is our exclusively designed tool perfect for the serious upholsterer or casual DIYer. This staple gun features convenient drop-in reloading and a shock-absorbing handle, plus it's lightweight and easy to use. An ergonomic comfort handgrip provides a firm hold on the tool. Our staple gun is specially engineered to perfect penetration of the staples, meaning it won't drive staples in so deep that they damage wood or fabric, unlike other pneumatic upholstery staple guns. The driving mechanism of this tool extends just far enough to set the staple without the crown penetrating the fabric, reducing the chance of unsightly holes, rips or tears. You'll have all the convenience without the risk of damaging your project.

This stapler will shoot 1/2" crown staples, as opposed to the standard 3/8", making it ideal for delicate faux leather or vinyl fabric applications, in addition to just about any other upholstery fabric you can think of! Utilize this handy tool for upholstery projects for your home, boat, car or RV. The Sailrite Long Nose Staple Gun is pneumatic (air powered), so you'll need an air compressor, hose and fittings (not included). It requires a common tanked air compressor with the capability of 100 PSI.

Long Nose vs. Short Nose

The Long Nose Staple Gun is recommended for tackling hard-to-reach places and may be required for more intricate and complex upholstery. The Short Nose Staple Gun (#121410) is the industry standard. An upholsterer can do a majority of stapling with the standard shorter nose. It's suitable for small, simple projects and novice upholsterers. 

Quick Tip: If Piston/Driver sticks, open the slide tray and place a few drops of the included oil in the nose area of the tool.
