Sailrite® Throated Sail Cover Kit – Sattler Fabric

Sew it yourself! This Sailrite® Throated Sail Cover Kit lets you make your own mainsail cover using Sattler® Marine Grade Fabric in the color of your choice. Cover and protect your mainsail when flaked with this throated sail cover. The sail cover fastens under the boom with Twist-Lock fasteners with a snap button finish to provide a clean look and reduce chafe. Secure the cover around the mast with a marine zipper. The pattern for this sail cover kit features pre-plotted, long-lasting Sattler fabric for easy construction. Approximate construction time is 4 hours.

To determine which sail cover kit is right for your boat, measure the length of the boom from the mast to its end (not including the mast width). Choose the kit with a length equal to or greater than the length of your boom from the drop-down menu.

Lazy Jack Slits: This mainsail cover can accommodate lazy jack slits. If lazy jack slits are required for your cover, add the Sailrite® Lazy Jack Slit Kit for Throated Sail Covers (#126564) to your order. This kit gives you the option of a two-leg, three-leg or four-leg system with white or black notions.
