This Suisei Swing Gauge Sewing Fence keeps stitches uniformly spaced from the edge of the fabric. Perfect for hemming, this sewing fence provides a hard stop for the fabric edge, just like a fence in a tabletop saw. The Swing Gauge Sewing Fence is also useful when seaming during the first step of making a semi-flat felled seam.

This swing gauge mounts to the machine with two screws. Look for a pair of threaded screw holes to the right of your machine’s needle plate. Most cast iron machines will have the appropriate holes. Household plastic machine may not. All Sailrite sewing machines can use this Swing Gauge.
