This Type 316 stainless steel eye and eye turnbuckle is a versatile hardware component that can be used to tension wire-hung canopies, shade sails, boat lifelines and other tension structures. Stainless steel offers excellent corrosion resistance. Because the eye ends are closed, use this style turnbuckle for applications that do not have frequent assembly and disassembly. Sailrite^® recommends using Permatex^® Anti-Seize Lubricant on the threads to minimize thread galling.
