This Type 316 stainless steel hook and hook turnbuckle is used for small shade sails and other tension structures. The hook and hook turnbuckle is quick and easy to install, and stainless steel offers excellent corrosion resistance. Use a turnbuckle between hardware pieces to tension shade sails or other tension shade structures. This turnbuckle features an open body and two hook end attachment points. Sailrite^® recommends using Permatex^® Anti-Seize Lubricant on the threads to minimize thread galling.
