5-ply Waxed Flat Twine (500') is a pre-waxed, flat construction polyester twine used for hand sewing. The ply used depends on personal preference, but we recommend this 5-ply twine doubled for sewing 7/8" rings. Use with a #17 or #18 hand needle. This waxed 5-ply twine has a flat (versus round) construction, which makes it lie closer to the fabric and less likely to chafe away.

We recommend a smaller twine for sewing seams and a larger twine for sewing larger rings.
