This is a #10 separating zipper by YKK^® with a double pull, locking zipper slider. Featuring black teeth and tape with a Delrin^® double pull slider, this zipper will blend into your canvas projects. The locking, double pull slider can be pulled from either side of the zipper chain and stays locked in place until pulled.

Molded tooth zippers are made with Delrin plastic teeth molded to the fabric tape edges. (VISLON^® is the YKK branded term for a molded tooth zipper style.) This construction makes them strong and practically weatherproof. Designed to resist damage from UV rays and corrosion, YKK VISLON zippers are a great choice for marine environments. Separating zippers can be fully separated like the zipper on a jacket. They include a zipper slider, starter box and top stops. A separating zipper can easily be shortened by cutting the end that is closed last. Install new top stops or sew fabric pieces over the ends of the teeth to keep the slider from coming off the end.
