How to Install Marine Vinyl Flooring 2

We’ve chosen Infinity Luxury Woven Vinyl™ flooring material for our floor mat. Infinity flooring is a 100% woven vinyl with a 100% frothed vinyl memory backing. It creates a soft, cool foundation for your feet and allows for added traction. Its unique frothed vinyl backing does not soak up as much water as other foam flooring, making it a great choice for powerboats, pontoons, sailboats and more. It dries quickly, stands up to heavy traffic and can be cut with scissors without needing a binding to finish the edges.

In our video, we'll show you how to measure your space and how to pattern and cut the flooring material. Our galley has a curved section at the step that we needed to accommodate. We’ll show you a great trick for patterning around curved areas using a simple kitchen supply you already have. In fact, other than the vinyl flooring material, you probably already have most of the supplies needed to make this easy, no-sew flooring project.

Not only is this a great flooring option for your boat, but you can also use these same techniques to create a no-sew mat for your RV, sunroom, kitchen or anywhere you need a cushioned and supportive floor mat. Save any leftover Infinity vinyl flooring for other projects. It can also be used for RV treads, swim platforms, placemats, coasters and more.
