Product Details

CushionRite® Foam & Fabric Spray Adhesive is recommended by Sailrite® for adhering CushionRite foam. This synthetic rubber-based, heavy-duty adhesive is designed for quick, clean bonds. It's suitable for a wide range of materials, including foam, fabric, batting, aluminum foil, fiberglass, wood, metal, glass, plasterboard, plastics, insulation, cardboard and paper. Use with care to bond polystyrene.

Please Note: Do not apply directly to plasticized PVC or PVC-coated materials. Suitable for use on the fabric backing of vinyl fabric.

CushionRite spray adhesive boasts instant grab and high bond strength but may be repositioned under certain conditions. It can be used for either permanent or temporary bonds. Spray only one surface for a temporary bond. Spray both surfaces for a permanent hold. The adjustable spray nozzle gives you more control over the application area and reduces overspray and waste. It’s moisture-resistant and withstands high temperatures for a strong seal even in hot and/or damp conditions. This spray adhesive doesn’t contain CFCs, making it more environmentally conscious without sacrificing performance.

Features:

  • High bond strength.
  • Moisture and heat resistant.
  • Bond foam, fabric, wood, metal and more.
  • Does not contain CFCs — better for the environment without sacrificing performance.

Directions for Use:

  1. Ensure that mating surfaces are clean, dry and free from any contaminants.
  2. Spray the adhesive in a uniform coating from approximately 10 inches (25cm) away. For applications on porous materials or to achieve maximum-strength adhesion, coat both surfaces.
  3. Allow 3-5 minutes for the solvents to evaporate and then press the materials together firmly.
  4. For a lighter bond, or where repositioning may be required, spray onto one surface only, allowing the adhesive to dry before pressing into place.
  5. For best results, the adhesive should be used at temperatures between 59ºF-77ºF (15ºC-25ºC) and stored at temperatures between 50ºF-77ºF (10ºC-25ºC).
  6. After use, invert the can and spray for a few seconds to clear the nozzle.
