Sailrite® Heavy Canvas Tote Bags Kit Black

Sew it yourself! The Sailrite® Heavy Canvas Tote Bag Kit Black includes the pattern and materials you need to sew two tote bags — a large and small bag. The large tote bag features a lining with six generous interior pockets, webbing straps and two outside pockets. The small tote is a simpler design with fabric handles and no interior lining or pockets. This is a great beginner project perfect for people new to sewing who want to practice on their machine and learn some basic sewing techniques.

Here are just a few of the skills you’ll learn while making these bags:

• How to serge raw edges inside a bag with zigzag stitches.

The bag patterns come pre-plotted on reusable Sailrite® Patterning Material. The pattern pieces are labeled for you, making assembly a breeze. Once the patterning material template pieces are cut out, you can reuse them again and again with new fabric to make as many bags as you want.
