When it comes to performance and design, there is nothing better than Sattler®. Sattler Marine Grade is a solution-dyed acrylic fabric perfect for marine canvaswork and awnings. With its high UV resistance, water resistance and breathability, it’s great for biminis, dodgers, awnings, weather cloths, covers, cockpit cushions and more.
Sattler Marine Grade is soft, colorfast, mold and mildew resistant, and does not noticeably shrink or stretch. Both sides of this marine grade fabric are the same, meaning that either side can be exposed to the outside. This makes it a great choice for covers, enclosures and awnings where you will see both sides of the application. At 9 ounces per square yard, this canvas fabric is also incredibly easy to work with and sew.
What Is Solution-Dyed Acrylic?
When it comes to marine and outdoor fabrics, quality is everything. And quality starts at the beginning. Every Sattler fabric is made from 100% solution-dyed acrylic. The color pigments are infused all the way to the core of every yarn used to weave a Sattler fabric. This is what gives Sattler fabrics their unbeatable colorfastness and fade resistance, making the colors shine and keeping them bright for a longer period of time compared to surface-dyed fabrics.
