DIY Tie Back Curtains 2
Our faux curtains frame the gray roller shade beautifully and add color and style to this RV bedroom.

These faux tieback curtains are for the bedroom window in our 1987 Airstream Argosy trailer. We previously made a roller shade for the window and wanted to add a decorative accent as well. Because the roller shade provides privacy and shade inside the bedroom, these curtains are simply decorative and don't cover the window. If you'd like curtains you can close, be sure to check out our other window treatment DIY projects.

In this project tutorial, you'll learn how to create hems and sew shirring tape, how to measure and create the tiebacks, and how to install the curtain track and curtains in our RV. Watch the video to learn how to make your own faux curtains to frame a window for an added splash of color and style.
