Double-cap rivets secure layers of material together. They also add a decorative element to bags and other items. These quality rivets will elevate the quality and appearance of your handmade goods.

A double-cap rivet consists of a cap with a post and a second, connecting cap. This rivet looks the same on either side of the material, so it's great for projects where you will see both sides. Use the included rivet setting tool set or the Sailrite® HandyPress® to install.

Cut a 1/8" (3mm) hole in your material before installation. Minimum material thickness is 4-5 oz. / 1.5mm; maximum material thickness is 9 oz/ 3.5mm.

Note: Rivet post length should be 1/16" to 1/8" longer than material thickness to be riveted.
