How to Measure Batting-Wrapped Foam for Cushion Covers

Wrapping cushion foam in batting adds extra softness, reduces wrinkles in the cushion cover and gives the front edge a nice, rounded appearance. In today’s Tips & Tricks video, we’ll show you how to glue a layer of batting to your cushion foam. Then, we’ll show you how to measure your foam for your panel dimensions. There’s a trick to measuring the foam, including adding slight compression to account for the layers of batting. We’ll show you our proven technique for measuring foam so you can craft great-looking cushion covers that fit perfectly and have no wrinkles. Let’s get into it.

This is not a full cushion cover tutorial. This is a quick DIY tips video showing you how to glue batting to foam, and then measure the foam assembly to determine the width of your cushion boxing.
