All you need is a 12" x 24" panel of firm tempered veg tan leather — choose from 2-3 oz. or 3-4 oz. leather. We stock predyed veg tan panels in several classic colors, including black, brown, tan and chocolate. You can also use natural veg tan, which will darken and patina beautifully as the wallet is used and handled.

This is the perfect project for someone just getting started in leather. Other than the leather panel, all you need is a cutting tool, a hole punch, rivets and a rivet installation tool. That’s it!
