The HandyPress Backstop Extender is an add-on piece for the HandyPress Sliding Flat Workbench. The part interlocks to the Workbench so it stays securely in place.
The HandyPress® Backstop Extender is an add-on piece for the HandyPress® Sliding Flat Workbench. The part interlocks to the Workbench so it stays securely in place. The Backstop Extender solves for a situation where you can’t move the Workbench far enough forward and still be able to lock it in place. It reduces how far back your project rests on the Workbench, allowing you to cut holes in fabric with hole cutters and puncture patterns with stitching chisels very close to the edge of your project. It also keeps your material aligned for consistent punches and cuts from the material edge.
The HandyPress® Ruler (#126459) cannot be used in conjunction with this Backstop Extender when the HandyPress Cutting Board is in use.
Note: This Backstop Extender comes with the HandyPress® Sliding Backstop for Use With Lower Dies add-on (#126448).
